HE-113
HE-113 is a lounge chair made from steel. The model is a great option for lounge and reception areas. The chair is produced by international manufacturer of high-quality upholstered furniture in leather and fabric De Sede. The design of the HE-113 chair was created by leading Swiss furniture and interior designer Hans Eichenberger in 1956.
Furniture made from steel is timeless: today it is more in demand than ever. In search of a new functional design this type of furniture first appeared in the Bauhaus workshops founded by Walter Gropius in Weimar — a modern school of art of architects, designers and artists for whom, due to their knowledge of proportion and function, house and furnishings had a meaningful relationship with one another.
The subframe of the HE-113 chair is made of chrome-plated tubular steel with leather belts. The armrests are produced from leather with spring brackets and loose cushions are of brown leather.
