Lecture on design by Olga Kosyreva
American furniture brand Knoll International and its Russian partner Concept invite you to join them for the interesting and informative evening of Friday 21 April at the company’s office in Sadovnicheskaya Street (at the corner of the Garden Ring in the Paveletskaya area).
Olga Kosyreva, an expert in the field of design, a journalist and co-founder of Design lecture, will be speaking about the reasons why the world center of design moved to the US in the middle of the 20th century as well as the key names and innovations that became the basis for the most famous works of this period. She will also analyze some modern examples of interiors where one can observe the use of classical objects of American design. The lecture will be delivered in a room containing the original furniture created by Ludwig Mies van der Rohe, Eero Saarinen, Warren Platner and other masters.
