Jamaica is a stool apt for the both markets — home and contract due to its seats sculptural beauty, ergonomics, comfort, durability of materials used, it’s nobility and for it’s renowned versatility. The model is produced by Spanish furniture manufacturer BD Barcelona. In the US, Canada, and Mexico, the Jamaica stool is distributed by Knoll Studio. The stool was developed by one of Spain’s most renowned designers Pepe Cortés.
The Jamaica stool is presented in two different heights and with two seat finishes, aluminium and solid wood. The family of stools is completed with a low version with wheels. The stool with a 5 leg structure is made of chromed steel. The swivel seat is available in cast aluminium AG3 scotch brite polished and finished in anodised silver, or in solid beech wood with natural varnish.
The Jamaica has won a deserved place in the history of Spanish Design and has a long commercial future before it.
