Bread

The leading Italian manufacturer Tacchini presents a collection of wooden tables Bread. The sculptural shapes of the tables resemble sliced bread, which is emphasized by the name of the collection «Bread». Bread, in turn, is part of the broader «Bread and Butter» collection created in collaboration with striking contemporary designer Faye Toogood.

The collection includes two side tables of different heights and a console. The legs and table top are made of stained ash wood. The surface of the top is decorated with natural stained maple inlay, like a thin layer of butter spread on a slice of bread. The finishing of Bread reflects the naturalness inherent in cut slices of freshly baked bread. The tactile warmth of the wood highlights the design’s idea of bread and butter as a symbol of home comfort and well-being.
